Handmade glazed stoneware tea cup

A small handleless cup, shaped and glazed by hand in thick stoneware that keeps the warmth between your palms. Its matte or speckled glaze, shaded like a river stone, makes every cup a one-of-a-kind piece: the tone varies slightly from one to the next. For green tea, oolong or an espresso, on its own or as a mismatched set on a wooden tray.

Good to know

Preferably wash by hand in hot soapy water, then dry thoroughly. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as pouring boiling water into a cup taken straight from the fridge. Shade variations and small irregularities in the glaze are part of the handmade work.
