Description

A block of travertine cut into an arch and split at its centre by a narrow notch: placed at the end of a row, it holds the books in place with the weight of the stone. Its porous, sandy beige surface keeps the natural cavities of travertine. The small model stands 12.5 cm tall, the large one 20 cm, both on a 10 × 5 cm base; together they frame a stack of art books or novels, and each also stands alone as a small sculptural object on a console. Sold individually or as a pair (one small and one large).

Good to know

Natural travertine: pores, cavities and veining vary from piece to piece and give it its character. Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products. Place on a stable shelf: the stone is heavy and may mark a delicate surface.
